Thank you. I see so many things in this. It was one of those things that came as a surprise, after a long trial-and-error period of moving transforms and adding variables. I don't know much math, but I can see what's going on!

This is cool. There's a painting somewhere showing a staircase that goes in a square but appears to to go up and down in a very convoluted way. An optical allusion.
