In times of war, this ferris wheel was used as a weapon. They'd get people to strap TNT to themselves, then sit in the chairs. Then they'd turn up the power so the ferris wheel would go incredibly fast, thus flinging the suicide bombers t'wards enemy planes and such! True story!
