When I reached 4k, I recolored one of my popular pictures. His eye was red, but I've changed it to blue to match his official eye color. You can see the original where I re-uploaded it to my scraps here: [link]

He looks sheeming. BuI like the expression.
And about the red: I like How you worked with it. But I think it should not be in front of his hair but in front of the shoulder. Then it would appear as if it was coming foreward from the back and give the pic more depth. Now it looks just like a layer with some red paint was put on top of the drawing.

Haha, definitly have some similarities, except Gin smiles non-stop in a very creepy way most of the time and he usually has his eyes squinted shut.

Impressive choice of color. It's very subtle and calm. I think, though, that the smudging is too obvious, thus the coloring does not appear with so much impact. I'm not a fan of anime, but I think your lineart is very good. Keep it up!
