When you know it will hurt both of you, but you want to touch it anyway...Like we keep pots of water with aquatic life in them, maybe mermaids have pots where they keep terrestrial life inside...
She really wants to touch the cactus and see how it feels
I actually did this on the right day for WIP Wednesay! I'll call that a win for today
Another work-un-progress. The 'real' drawing has nothing to do with cacti... unfortunately. I think I like this version better already XDI'm taking it easy at the moment - having good days and bad. Thought I'd share and what I've been doodling, and let you know, while things are still tough, I'm on the right track

I use like 50-100 layers per painting and they still don't look as good as your sketches and WIPs XD

Now, I don't know if you will see this or if you even do requests, but I noticed that you create art with stories behind them. One thing that has been very meaningful to me is that when I was a child I head the phrase "don't bottle up your feelings". To this day I feel that whenever someone keeps a secret it goes into their bottle. Whenever you tell someone something, it leaves your bottle. If your bottle gets too full it starts to crack (depression or stress), and will eventually burst (suicide). I tried drawing a depiction of this but I didn't really like it. It means a lot to me and I was wondering if maybe you could draw it.

She looks like a beautiful mermaid dreaming about the desert. Isn't the truth that we always want what we can't have or we are never happy with what we already have? Well composed, outstanding color combinations that work well together and lead the viewers eye around the deviant artwork so that the entire composition can be appreciated. Excellent job.
