So i am now obsessed with the twilight saga... This is Edward the vampire heartthrob from the book. I used a ref of the actor playing him in the movie and what i though he looked like. Not totally happy with it... but... i like it... I am going to do one of him and Balla too XD I haven't gotten the other books so no spoilers!!!! seriously i will be very very angry <__<'[link]

You know, I liked the first book too! I only read it because I used to live in Forks (I know, what're the odds?)
The rest of the series didn't really live up to my expectations, but I still like the first book, where Edward is all that is awesome.

Not really. I mean, it IS tiny and boring. And the central hotspot in town is the Thriftway.
But, I can kinda tell she's never been there. (She hasn't.) For one thing, the rain is a light drizzle that never goes away completely but never really comes down hard, either. For another, Forks would actually kind of suck if you NEED to be out of the sun all day, especially in summer. While it rains pretty much every day, the rain only lasts for 20 minutes to an hour, then it stops. Then it comes back.
There are some things about small town life that she sort of overlooked, too. Like: You cannot leave the house without meeting someone you know. If your dog gets lost, someone knows someone who knows someone who knows where it is. The sheriff's son can get away with dang near anything. Small towns gossip. Small towns have heroes, too, so you can bet Edward would be hearing about the van thing forEVER.

haha yes i know small town life, i live in one and you are so right about all that. Its very interesting to find all that out. Course i guess she might have just read up on the town and thought she had enough to go with... like when i write about stuff that happened in the past... well its really hard to know whatever thing is unless you are there... but then i suppose one could like interview people that live in certain places...
