Don't we all feel this way sometimes? LOLI used my beloved Adrian since i haven't drawn him in a while (Yes i know he kinda looks like Sephiroth, but he has one wing and Adrian has two!)
This is about inner struggle, in this case the blood represents his Vampiric half and how it affects the heart and the black thorns are the pain it causes. Making your nature, who you are at heart, bleed though. But that just to me XD
