Edit: I made the picture larger because people wanted more detail*Well this was actually inspired by the fact the girl started to look like Barbara Steele... now she was in the movie Black sunday...one of my all time favorite witch/vampire/bride of satan movies lol It was made in 1961 and i beleive it was Italian and the movie that inspired the band Black sabbath to call themselves just that... anywho... this is dedicated to one of the greatest horror movie ever made XD You go Barbara!!!

Again, I'm just gobsmacked at what you can do with acrylics (and sooo jealous!). Wonderful stuff. And yes, twas an excellent film, though I think it was called something else here. All I remember clearly is that damn mask with the spikes on the inside ... *shudder* Beautiful work. I want that dress!

HOORAY! And yes, she does look rather Barbara Steele-ish. I am glad someone else here besides me knows about Black Sunday...and as for the painting...I quite like the different levels it has, besides the main female figure....lovely work.
