Yay, Miguel is back on the surface where he belongs.

That's a wave going over their heads, in case you can't tell. And they are in the last panel, just really small. And the curved thing on Kai's hip is a knife, which she used to cut him loose. I figured she ought to have a weapon.

Guess I need a T-square! I don't think the lines were that far off on the original

I love this page! I liked the part where Kai covered Miguel's mouth when the wave crashed over them so he wouldn't get any more water in his lungs. Kai is so lovely She's taking good care of Miguel, isn't she?

Good, I was hoping people would understand what is happening there, with the wave If Miguel keeps saving other people and falling off boats he's really going to need Kai to look after him

Squeeeee!!!!! I love dit, yo udid a great job on this one! I relaly loved how you drew the effect of the wate ri nthe first panel when Kai breaks the surface holding Miguel.

water effects are interesting... glad it worked Miguel really was only underwater for a few minutes (ok, maybe like ten) so it is still storming on the surface

I'll try I have a bunch of paintings going up later today or tomorrow

I really like the layout of this page, also it's great when you can tell a part of a story visually, which you pulled off really well here.

Don't worry about the crooked panels, I think it's an interesting look.

thanks! That was one good thing about deciding to do the story as a manga, that whole "a picture is worth a thousand words" thing
