The original Centrians hail from beyond the known borders of any of mankind's uncounted worlds, yet they have managed to become familiar sights anywhere within the systems that humans have colonized. Most seem to be under the same government, but at least several factions of Centrians are known to exist. It is speculated that the Centrian race may be as widespread and as diverse culturally in their regions of the universe as humans are their own. They do not share the same technology tree as anyone else in the known worlds, instead having developed intergalactic travel and other advanced sciences on their own. They guard their secrets closely, sharing no such knowledge. Attempts to learn from recovered artifacts have merely left other scientists baffled as to how they actually function. They do, however, trade just about anything else freely with nearly anyone. It is mostly the Centrian trade vessels that have made their ways throughout the universe such as this ship here [link] . Occasionally one may see other ships in certain parts of the human controlled territories such as this destroyer pictured here, but to encounter a Centrian military ship in the known territories is really quite rare. Should such a case occur, provocation is not recommended.
