Description "Smallvilled" designs for Robin (Dick Grayson), Flash (Jay Garrick), and Green Lantern (Alan Scott).

Supposedly, Batman can't be introduced in Smallville due to some BS ownership from WB. But Robin, apparently, is open for a cameo.

And as far as Jay and Alan go, Clark's only experience with superheroes so far has been with the Vigilante and the up-and-coming JLA, which have been these undercover organizations fighting under the radar. We all know that's not what Clark is destined to become.

So, for an episode with Jay and Alan in it, it'd go like this-

Jay and Alan come out of superhero retirement due to a slump in superhero activity in recent years. While visiting Chloe in Metropolis, Clark witnesses Jay and Alan fighting publicly in costume against some super villain. Clark investigates into them, and Jay and Alan tell him about the "Golden Age" of superheroes back in the 1940's and 50's. They complain about how these new heroes are too dark and don't like to bring hope to the people. They ask Clark to join them on a mission, wherein Clark dons a very prototype Superman costume (no tights, though). Clark finds that while he enjoyed working with Ollie and such in the safety of darkness, there was a certain satisfaction he got from fighting in the public eye. Jay and Alan tell Clark that he needs to go back and organize some stuff in his life before he can go around being a superhero, but when he's truly ready to use his powers for good (and more importantly, to bring hope) that there'll be a spot open alongside them. Episode ends with Jay and Alan retreating to the abandoned JSA headquarters and opening the door, and Jay says something like "Looks like the Silver Age is just about to begin" or something Smallville cheesey but kinda awesome at the same time.

And as much as I love Hal Jordan, him being on Smallville as a Green Lantern is a huge mistake. Hal's version of GL is very tied to space travel, and I feel that if Smallville Clark met him, the show would just turn into "hey let's travel into space and find out about Krypton."

very nice flash, the GL costume looks good but the purple along the neck and thighes just feels out of place, maybe if he had a cape or even kind of a hood type thing

I really like the idea of how you're setting the story of Smallville and having the concept of the Golden and Silver Age. This could be an idea of having Smallville and DC movies getting to the concept of the
Golden and Silver Age. Good job on the costume designs though, they look great. I really like it. Did you do this on paint?

Thanks!

I did it in Photoshop, but no real techniques beyond what I can do in Paint besides blurring.
