Oh! I read that one! It was written while season two or three was still airing so some stuff was a bit weird. The plot went something like this: Jay finding his true potential while mutated caused the mutation to become permanent. He fell unconscious after saving Nya from the coaster, and while he was out the other ninja managed to get ahold of the venomari staff (offscreen, unfortunately the author skipped that part of the adventure) and found out the hard way it wouldn’t work.
Jay got pretty angsty and out of character when he woke up. (No jokes to relieve the tension here, just angst) They had him stay onboard the bounty so he wouldn’t scare anybody, and he sat out most of season one’s events moping around the ship. He found the grey cloak (as seen in the above illustration) mysteriously stashed in the bottom of his clothes and used it to sneak out a few times, but if I remember correctly it didn’t work too well. It was never actually explained.
At one point, the First Spinjitzu Master appeared to him in a dream and told him this was his destiny. He also said that as a Serpentine Jay was now immune to the venom of the Great Devourer and it seemed like it was leading up to a plot point, but the author had that fight go pretty much how it did in the series, aside from Jay accidentally scaring the mailman at the Scrap ‘N’ Junk. And Jay being susceptible to the flute, for obvious reasons.
Later on, Lord Garmadon managed to get Jay alone to make him a deal. He would turn Jay human again, in exchange for Jay getting Lloyd to him and never fighting against him again. Jay kind of took him up on it, and temporarily got turned back to normal and even got Lloyd away from everyone else before he realized that no, this was a bad idea and he didn’t want to spent the rest of his life as one of Garmadon’s minions. Unfortunately, Garmadon had anticipated this and had some skeletons waiting in ambush to grab Lloyd and Jay, who had turned back into a Serpentine because of his attempt to save Lloyd. The other ninja had to rescue the two of them. Aaaand I don’t remember how it ended after that.
It did, however, inspire me to try and write my own take on the idea. Which I’ve been working of for years and haven’t actually posted any of yet. And which is why I remember so many weird details.

ah, i appreciate your addition of a summary here for the folks who never got to see the work. it really is a tragedy it was taken down, it was one of my favorites, and honestly this is also still one of my fav pics ive drawn to date. I suppose that just proves to point how vivid the imagery of its writing was for me.
id be interested to see the concept revitalized again and what you could do with it too! i remember back then i used to write my own little drabbles in that universe for fun

oh ... I'm sorry ... I would have liked to see the truth: '' 'do not you have another page where you can send it? Facebook? twitter? or another? ... is that the truth I find it impossible to find content or even chapters by fans with that ending ..
