Description So here he is, waking up after another death. So many deaths behind him, so many deaths ahead...
Our dear Planescape artist don Fuflon sneaked through the streets of Sigil to draw him.

I can almost hear him saying "Ugh. Feels like I've been strained through someone's bowels."

Awesome piece!

"How many times must this fool *die*?"

Even though the picture is unfinshed, at least I think it is it is still perfect for that "after death" feeling. You know I ahve often wondered just what the hell(s) was that the original incarnation of the Nameless-one did that was a crime so heinous that he got Ravel to make him immortal so that he would never have to go to the afterlife?

I'm afraid we will never know the answer. But he seemed to need a whole eternity to make things right.

Cool. I especially like how the Nameless One's face is hidden. Somehow it seems to fit his mysterious nature and great weariness.
Since the Practical Incarnation was the one that got both Morte and the tattoos, I suppose there should already be an 'entire book engraved on his back'. But that's just nitpicking.

Now that's good to hear! If our images urge others to re-play Torment, job is done!

Luckily he will not remember all of his pain until his final "encarnation". Hope this one is not the one who tried to eat Morte...

Even the Lady cannot kill or maze him for long...

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-06-24 13:19:46 +0000 UTC]

The Lady can! In Torment, if TNO pisses her off twice, she kills him permanently.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-06-24 19:01:32 +0000 UTC]

That never happened to me!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-06-24 22:12:39 +0000 UTC]

Yes, and it has a unique animation - a view from TNO's eyes, he looks up, sees the Lady, and then - it's all in blood. And then - game over!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-06-25 11:00:36 +0000 UTC]

You have give a reason for installing the game and play my CDXXXVIII time!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-06-25 19:50:28 +0000 UTC]

That's good! I also played it a zillion times, and now I'm a moderator at the Russian board about Planescape in general and Torment... Nice things we got there!

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-06-25 23:25:38 +0000 UTC]

You know if there is some way to talk to Vaylor about your past encarnation and he don't try to rip you with his axe?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-06-26 08:59:01 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it depends on TNO's charisma and intelligence, if you pick up right dialogue options.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-06-26 10:10:50 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I knew that, but when you talk to him about a certain topic he always try to kill you. By the way, do you know how to become a lawful good to use the deva's sword? I've tried all, but I never have been able.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-06-26 10:45:50 +0000 UTC]

Lawful good... Make good deeds (obviously), vow and keep your vows, don't take money for your good deeds.
BTW, about alignment in 4th edition - now only Good, Lawful Good, Evil, Chaotic Evil and Unaligned are left. Roleplaying, my ass!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-06-26 11:39:09 +0000 UTC]

And the chaotic neutral? no! don't tell me the most important alignment isn't there!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-06-26 13:20:31 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it is my favourite as well, but it is not there. Just 5 alignment options instead of 9. Moronic, isn't it?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-06-26 22:55:21 +0000 UTC]

I agree with you! CN was the one most freedom of acting gives to you. Now... just be unaligned (whatever it is).

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 2

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-07-02 21:26:16 +0000 UTC]

I'll have to... But for now I just have no desire to play anything under 4th edition rules at all.
You know, after seeing 4th edition I begin to treat 3.5 much better.

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-07-03 12:03:30 +0000 UTC]

I didn't like the ones after 2nd ed. Apart from AD&D and SR have you tried another RPGs?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-07-07 20:14:24 +0000 UTC]

Fallout PnP, something under d20...

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-07-07 21:41:42 +0000 UTC]

At last! I started to think I was the only one who played Fallout PnP!
Also got the enclave expansion for that game. Here in DA I saw some pic for a D20 version of the game. Have you tried Warcraft rpg? (not the Wow rpg, the first one ever created, it rocks!)

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-07-08 11:47:22 +0000 UTC]

Nope, didn't have a chance to see Warcraft.
As for Fallout PnP, it is really awesome for a unprofessional product. Well, the system is very flexible - it came from the video game...

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-07-08 14:00:51 +0000 UTC]

It was the videogame system! the only thing I missed a bit was the hability to use two weapons at the same time, the rest was awesome!
Once I did a Campaing for this game, it happened 10 years after the Vault Dweller in Shady Sands, the Hub and some god-forgotten secret military base (not the one of the videogame! ) we had a lot of fun!

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-07-08 19:08:44 +0000 UTC]

Once I tried to make it with the European wasteland, including Russia and England. Yeah, a lot of fun!

And south Africa?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-07-08 23:08:03 +0000 UTC]

Next time, next time, may be. Though I guess Egypt and its pyramids may add a lot to classic Fallout experience - for example, some evil cults worshipping giant mutants...

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Daemonideus In reply to Deusuum [2008-07-10 23:31:05 +0000 UTC]

Or giant mutants workshipping some new "master" in Sakkara... (0_0U wow! good idea indeed for a campaing!)

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Deusuum In reply to Daemonideus [2008-07-14 20:34:40 +0000 UTC]

Why not!

Just start working on it (I feel a little lazy actually)...
