Ladieees and Gentlemen!!! Welcome to Sunday the 31st of January 2021 and the Winter 2020-2021 AMA. You were asked a question and you voted on the answer and here she is, to answer all of your questions truthfully... Alchemica!!!!

So without any further ado whatsoever let's get on with the questions. We will start at the journal first...

asks "Why a mouse when it spins?" (huh?)

Ahm...I am not entirely certain but I think it has something to do with Pythagoras?

asks "What is devduck really like?" (ahem...can I use a veto?)

Oh...ahm...nice...a little cranky, maybe a bit of ocd when it comes to certain things...but nice...did I say nice?

asks "If Alchemica could host a party for any 4 of her own heroines, who would it be and what would she serve to eat and drink?"

Ohhh...oh I have to think. Mom...obviously, I think... Katie Taylor...Grainne O' Malley oh and Sally Ride, have to include Sally. Why...ahm...Mom raised me on her own, she worked hard and I owe her everything. Katie Taylor is an Irish Sports Legend okay, she is my girl! Grainne was a fierce and independent Irish woman in the 16th Century, a leader in an age of men and I would really love to hear her stories first hand. And Sally, Sally was the first American woman into space. My people come from Ireland (and further afield), but I was born and raised in America and I am proud to be American and Sally pushed back the boundaries for us all. Plus its's like...space!!!! I want to go to space too. Beam me up!

What would I serve? Geez...I am not the world's best cook, hopefully everybody would be okay with pizza, wings and salad, with plenty of drink.

asks 5 questions...so here we go! Q1: "Have you ever gotten payback on the Bratt sisters for all the times they catch you?"

What "All the times?" Okay on this ocassion I am ignoring all the side universes. canonically it has been only one time buster!!! Next question!

Q2: "That time you and En-Trance were caught by robots, in the abandoned asylum, how did you escape?"

I am pretty much immune to things like gas and chloroform, I faked being knocked out and was able to use my magic to get us out of there

Q3: "Did you ever find out who your father is, and have you met him?"

No, no one will tell me anything about him, not even mom

Q4: You are currently in a romance with Crimson Valkyrie ( oc of CrimsonVlkyrie ) do you see a future with her?

In the Avalon and Asgard setting? Of course, she is the love of my life...we are growing old together and no one is getting in the way

Q5: "Do you find Sugar Bratt's obesession with you annoying or flattering?"

Annoying...100% annoying...no question! Okay...97% annoying, but that is it!

asks "Will we ever see you in casual gear eating potato chips and watching the Worst Football team in the league again?"

Uh yeah, just every Sunday...their luck HAS to change sometime...go Vampyres!!!

asks 2 questions Q1 If you weren't part Fae, what powers and abilities would you like to have?

Being part Fae isn't just about powers, it's my heritage and it brings with it so much. I couldn't imagine not being who I am. But if you mean alternative powers...I wish I could just wave my hands for my magic, having to voice spells has drawbacks. Also fly...I love to fly.

Q2: "Avalonian or Amazonian"

Are you kidding me? Seems to me Amazonians spend 99% of their time tied up...Avalonian, definitely

Q1: "Your Fae sisters Aoibhe and Sibhe captured Crimson during one of your roleplay sessions (and one time to interrogate her, although I'm not 100% sure if this is 'canon').

Would you help them in the same way? Would they help Tiffany?"

They are my Aunts...technically...ahm...they are my Aunts. And to answer your questions Hell Yes and absolutely!

Follow on: "On earth this type of relationships would be rare and I'm actually curious if this is different in Avalon"

In this universe, it is totally different  In Duck's universe they are a bit less relaxed. But you have to understand, true Fae live...oh...a very long time and go through various phases of greater and lesser connection with the physical world. They are also very curious and many of the taboos we have around relationships, sex...they just don't exist in Avalon

Q2 "How do your portals work? Is it basically everything within a certain volume or is there a limit on how much mass can fit through? For example: Would Thor's hammer be able to travel through one of your portals?"

Think of it more like a plane of water. It is 2-way and anything that crosses the horizon of the plane will translate to whatever location the other side of the plane is linked to. So yes, Mjolnir could pass through. I can form interdictions, making the portal only one way or sealing it entirely while leaving it visible...and I can also shut it down while something is passing through it. I don't have the ability to create one that has "volume" as such...they are always flat planes though I can vary the size greatly.

Our good friend has some questions too it seems and so do his oc's Crimson Fox and Blonde Sable and even Shadowhawk himself

Q1: ""My first question is from my OC Crimson Fox: Would you ever team up with a heroine possessed by a Kitsune spirit and if so, do you think there would be any issues between your Fae powers and a Japanese Fox spirit's powers?

Yeah, that is a Fox spirit right? As for issues? You mean would our powers be incompatible? I don't think there would be any issues...except for the bad guys!

Q2:  "!Is again from Crimson Fox: When you are not in costume and being a heroine, do you find that you still depend on your magic to do normal everyday tasks or do you find that doing normal everyday tasks without magic to be relaxing?"

My magic takes energy...so I tend to just do things normally...except maybe the popcorn...I don't like to wait for that

Q3: "Comes from Blonde Sable: Hi Alchemica, long time fan of your work, you are very well know for your amazing ability to escape from almost any non mystical trap and a great many mystical traps as well, do you find this to be an advantage or detriment when dealing with new criminals you go up against?"

Oh, definitely a pain in the ass. Once you get that rep every johnny come lately with two weeks of an online course in Shibari thinks he will be the one to tie you up so good you can't escape. Definitely a negative

Q4: "Comes from Blonde Sable: Being a heroine is not an easy lifestyle, how do you juggle the demands of being a heroine and the desires to have a some what normal life?"

It's hard, for sure. But most of my friends and are in Network...so we have some wild parties to de-stress and there is always someone you can talk to when you are dealing with something...

Q5: Comes from Shadowhawk and is a challenge instead of a question. It says "My suit against your magic, and gives an address in Ocean's Bluff and a time."

Like what, home-life getting too tough so you need to flex? Bring your suit, I will bring my team!

asks "How do you fund your Superheroine activty, do you have mentors for your magic learning"

Hi. Okay, so back in the day before I joined the Cassandra Network I used the money of the criminals I took down. If that was scarce, I can turn small metal objects into gold...so I bought cheap cutlery sets and turned them into gold, then pawned them. Once I joined the Network I didn't need to do those things anymore, Cassie pays us.

Yes I do, I have had several tutors over the years but my two Aunts Sibhe and Aoibhe are my mentors.

again, asks "Do you have a favourite superheroine and why? Also why do you wear your current outfit?"

Favourite...ohhh...I work with a LOT of superheroine, so I don't know if I can say...but I am closest to Trance.

My costume combines items from both parts of my life. The body-stocking is made from Fae silk, which has several advantages over earth made materials and was part of my Guard uniform while in Avalon. The Bikini belonged to my girlfriend Stacy, I wear it to remember her.

Animals... Moon hounds, the city's cats oh...they have Unicorns in Avalon!!! And no you don't have to be...ahem..you know...to ride one...just saying!

I had to google him. Me...no, not my type. Cassie likes him though, says she likes the fact his characters have rules and he can work wood.(Cassie has an unhealthy passion for rules!) Lei crushes on his voice, that mid west accent and I think Trance is on something called the Swanson diet?

I am terrified of failing one of my friends the same way I failed Stacy, it sometimes keeps me awake at night.
