This is what I envisioned when Jesus said, "Get away, Satan!" Lucifer looking like some Asian ideal of a god like Krishna or Mazda, and humble Jesus repulsed by his obvious come in to worship him in his dark beauty. 😏

ESPECIALLY the First and Last chapters. Imagine your version of Lucifer, an EXCELLENT depiction, by the way, only dressed like a dapper steampunk Professor. The little monk strikes me as very much in line with your spiritual aesthetic of a pious Eunuch, whether or not he literally is one. He’s about 70 in 1900, so it would have still been slightly plausible for it to have happened to him as a child.
As for the main protagonists, I think you will find their philosophical adventures both amusing and fascinating.

Oh, my gosh. This is one of my favourite artworks from you, Deva! Lucifer looks so heartbreakingly beautiful like a fallen angel of his status should be, and Jesus's halo seems to be radiating from within him, showing that while he had a homely appearance he was still very beautiful inside (the beauty that matters most). The detail is amazing, and the background has the potential to be ominous but the sunrise, to me, is understood as something that elicits hope.
Just wondering, how tall was the average eunuch? And can we get short eunuchs, or is that very unlikely or an impossibility? I know it's got something to do with the lack of testosterone (I think), so I'm just curious.

Yeah I put a lot of symbolism in that piece... and I welcome constructive reviews.
Eunuchs were taller than most average men, maybe like one head taller. I guess there are short eunuchs if the man was "destined" (by genes) to be short, e. g. 150cm, then if he will become eunuch, he'll be 165 or 170. Testosterone slows down the growth of bones to make them firm and all the "power" goes to growth of muscles. While eunuchs don't have testosterone and their bones never stop growing.

You should've made Jesus more plain looking and he was NOT white. He was said to be more olive skin toned. Angels are also not male or even men (cis or trans) as they are neither the binary genders because they can be both (since their not human anyway). With that said, this is an absolutely gorgeous picture and you've captured Lucifer (or Satan) BEAUTIFULLY. Keep in mind that even humans have more than two biological sexes and angels do not abide to human gender expressions.

Nobody knows how Jesus really looked.
Angels are creatures of the spirit without sex. However, they have gender, because in the writings they are referred to as men and never as women. In the Byzantine lives of the saints, the angels look like beautiful eunuchs (eunuchs are still men in Byzantine perception).
I don't know what kind of angels you are talking about, because I took about angels in Abraham traditions.

In fact, Satan really should be the most beautiful angel...
I read that in Judaism, Abraham's wife, Sarah is prettier than all the most beautiful women in the world, but she is nothing compared to Eve. But even Eve pales before the beauty of Adam, and the beauty of Adam is just a spark compared to the beauty of God. So, when Adam first saw Samael (Satan) in the Garden of Eden, he thought it was God Himself and bow to him. This shows that this angel in beauty was like God.
It is also said that when people saw Satan (in Judaism he performed the function of the angel of death, he came to the righteous in the form of a radiant and beautiful angel, and to sinners in the form of a seven-headed fiery dragon), and in his beautiful and horrible form, both cases people died from his appearance.

It is strange for me that Lucifer looks like an asiatic/arabian figure (he resembles of your eunuch's portraits). Anyway, I LOVE their expresion and Jesus looks, OMG amazing and gorgeous and beautiful all at the same time

Oh, I think it's amazing that the canon is now strange and exotic against the background of Gothic and modern angels But the angels and Lucifer are the creatures of the Eastern (Jewish, Arab and Persian) religion, and it will be historically correctly and canonically portray them as such.
Although to be honest, I did not even use Arabian/Jewish clothes and style for Lucifer in this art. I used Greek examples in his clothes and ornaments. Because the Bible says that the throne of Lucifer/Satan is in Pergamon. (Pergamon or Pergamum was a rich and powerful ancient Greek city in Aeolis. Now called Bergama, İzmir Province, modern Turkey)

I saw classical paintings with Jesus and Satan, but they all did not satisfy me, as they didn't fit to what I read about the character&appearance of Jesus and magnificent but proud archangel Lucifer.
So I decided to portray how I saw them
