I've never really seen real armour (like stuff that wasn't in movies, and was actually wearable) so this is a very interesting photo to me. Aside from that, I like the contast; your B&W photos are some of my favourites.

This is a transitional period...on the way to complete plate armor. Also the broadsword and war hammer are historical.
The armor is very wearable! We fight in tournament with it.
I shot this in 2005, but it is just now that I have been learning HDR, that I have made it a better photo, or at least what I wanted it to be. The original B&W that I had printed from this is not as pretty.

I learn something new everyday; today was a brief history of armour 
I'd like to try out HDR one day, it makes some great photos is both colour and B&W - clear and crispy.
