u tell me, I have so many hormones I have no idea sometimes who I am, I forget my name and sometimes life is way to hard, and its so easy to say "what the hell do you know your only a teenager" but u kno, whoever says that has no right to judge.
we know because we're experiencing it everyday they only have previous experiences which are not 'now' they are in the past and I've read that memories over time change.
But thats just my opinion and before anyone tries to comment on this ranting at me, I will not answer you because I am always going to stand by what I say.

Emotions come randomly. It doesn't matter when, or why. You don't necessarily feel every emotion the day you hit puberty. Some wait and hit you when you've grown. It's quite a shock.

18 isn't a very unusual age to get hormonal; in fact no age is unusual (asides from like, 2 years old, but bleah off topic).

I hope that the emotions calm down, soon. Don't be ashamed to seek professional help; it's can be a real relief. And don't worry if you don't say anything to them. You're not expected to open up overnight.

Are you asking what are all these feelings you suddenly have, or are you scared because you don't have certain emotions others are talking about? It could simply be about experience, you may not have been involved in something that would help you feel a certain way....though if you're talking about empathy...that's a whole other topic.

I'm a bit confused on what you mean, ST. Do you mean you feel odd because you aren't experiencing/feeling certain things at 18 or because you are?

Either way, there's really no normal/usual things you should or shouldn't have at any age. Children can be depressed, adults can act like they're 5. Just because we've been taught to expect some things from ourselves at certain ages doesn't mean it's gonna happen. It can happen sooner or never, that's life.
