Something similar happened to me, in 5th grade I had two best friends, they turned on me and all of thier friends did aswell. They lied, they never respected me and I treated them like gold. After that, I did not have any friends on middle school. I'm in high school right now and still, I feel like I do not have any TRUE friends.

Friends come and go, I'd really want a good friend. But it seems like you're all just hiding out on the internet! There's no one here in "real life".

I chose to go to a different college from my friends because I didn't think that they would bother with me when I left them. After all, the only conversation I had with them was for me to help them with their work. It's sad, they really didn't bother with me. And I haven't met a single friend in college, I've been here for over a year now. I didn't think that the kid who sat there and ate lunch by themselves didn't exist. Holy crap, that's me!

Well, best advice. Fall in love. It's everything you could ever need. I hope it happens.

I lost all my high school "friends" because all they wanted to do was use me and they were never there for me. I picked up my boots and kept going though and I've met some great people.

GOD this used to be my life.
The only reason any of my friends actually wanted to talk to me for the most part in HS was because they wanted money or something else. I know what you are going through. It wasn't until my senior year did I make REAL friends other than my cousin.

I had a situation like this, but luckily I stopped some time ago. you're right, it's better being alone than being used. a lot better, above all for yourself. but, hey, do you really need a boyfriend to not be alone? just try to look a little more around you...

I guess, all I can say, is to not shut yourself off from others like I have... just, try and keep your trust open a little bit, and you'll find a friend that will always be there for you while you do the same for them...
