I know how that goes hun. but believe me, letting it known doesn't always get you sympathy, but it gets you one step closer to help.
Just do yourself a huge favor and avoid getting into habbits to try to solve it.
it makes everything too difficult.
if you can't fight it off on your own, or through therapy, then try asking for meds.
i just started them a few weeks ago and it's helped me a LOT since then

Because some people point out and mess with the fact that these people whine about everything?

Some of these people are struggling and the last thing some of them need is people pouring scorn on their troubles.

so you feel jealous your mom's getting noticed for her depression and helped. Here's something for ya. BE FUCKING HAPPY FOR HER.
No one can help you like you can. Trust me random secreteer, I know the feeling. You've got to get over yourself.

I think she just desperately wants help and feels like she can't ask for it. Considering these things have a genetic component, it's not surprising they're BOTH in need of help.
It's not any more important for her mom to get help than her and I don't see any reason she needs to feel like it is.

for someone who has depression running in her family and two family suicides, I beg to differ.
These comments are to try to help people, not bring them down.

i never implied anything you are accusing me of, but as long as we're on the subject, tryhard isn't a word, i'm a dark and edgy 15 year old, and yes. it is 2012.

You know, I can understand that the pity is not nice but you should accept the worry. I think that not accepting it is pride and selfishness, because it's normal for a friend to worry about you when things go wrong. Otherwise, they feel just useless, because they can't help you in another way than listening to you and tell you that they'll always be there for you most of the times. They'll try to make you laugh but they'll see something's wrong and they'll always feel bad about it. The worry is always better than that for them, believe me.

I told my mum about it, and we try to help each other when we need.
Like the other day, my mum was feeling down, so I forced her to come out with me. She does the same when I'm upset.
I'm sure if you help her, she'll help you. She just needs to know you're down.

Hrm. You're only depressed when you choose to be depressed. You're only happy when you choose to be happy. Honestly I think this secret is kind of swallowing self-pity rather than a "secret." Not saying it's horrible! Yet I can't cope with this quote, merely because people shouldn't take this as wisdom. It kind of sounds like tumblr posts...
