The only problem with teddy bears is that...even though they listen to all your problems, and they are always there and don't hurt you, they don't hug back...
But...I have had my Teddy Bear....Named "Teddy" for.....quite awhile now.

Some people think that it's funny that I still have a bear. I just say that I use him for a pillow, but this is only a half-truth. I think that every teddy bear has felt tears on their face and heard the pain and secrets of their owner, I know mine has. And whenever my friends or family do hurt me, he's always there. But he's also there for the good times. I even think that one of the true tests of my current friends is that they have never said a word about me tagging it along when I stay over (but, again, I do kinda use him as a pillow too lol). I'm the creepy goth chick with a teddy bear (I still have all of my child hood stuffed animals in my closet, actually) and dolls (Living Dead Dolls, but who's taking note? lol) and damn proud of it!
There's nothing wrong with a teddy bear. And never let anyone tell you anything else.

Yeah, all friends will hurt you, somehow, and you do have to figure out which ones are worth it.
The ones I have now? Worth it.
My teddy is special to me, too. He holds more tears in his little body than any of my friends have seen me cry. Always there for me, and the perfect size to hug ^_^
And he'll be there to catch my tears when my friends and I fight.
And he'll be there to catch them when we make up.

You have to find the right friend. I mean, every human betrays each other but if you find the right friend, it will only be superficial things.
I don't think anything could seriously ruin this friendship I have now. I love this girl <3
