...I get the same feeling. No matter what, I always sleep with the covers over my head. I don't care that it wouldn't hold up against anything--it still makes me feel better.

It's not going to swallow you, it's going to hug you tight and tell you everything'll be okay.
^_^ I know, I talked to it. hehe.

Me too! I get sooo paranoid!
I'm afraid to open my eyes
or open my phone or turn my ipod on
because I'm scared somethings gonna be there! >_<

"To light a candle is to cast a shadow."
I feel the same way; I have a bed off the ground and I still jump onto is so nothing can come out from under the bed to grab me.

Omg me too, especially on a night after I've seen a scary movie and I'm the last one to go to sleep.

I used to HAVE to have a light on (whether is be a small light or the ceiling light) but now it irritates my eyes and keeps me up.
It's okay.

I have nyctophobia, so I can easily understand your issue. But like Jennifer's comment, I pull the covers over my head and sleep. And of course, I'm twenty.

I can agree with this one; I feel the same way every night.
