I have to agree with you. I also once heard something along these same lines;
THERE SHOULD BE NO SUCH WORD AS LOVED. BECAUSE IF YOU STOP LOVING, THEN YOU REALLY NEVER LOVED THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.
And that's true. You can never stop loving someone or soemthing if you really do LOVE them.
