I feel exactly the same way about my OCs. If they were real, I feel as though all the other hurt would just vanish because I'd be the happiest person.
I've told someone this, and she just thought it was a bit silly. I felt alone, but now I know I'm not.

T__________T ILU FOR THIS.<33333 Even characters that aren't mine originally that I RP I wish were real. Hell, I've recently begun to talk to them/pretend that they're real a bit.
Even my best friend and I talk about our characters like our mind was a rental hall. and as annoying as they can be sometimes, or as much as they pick on us and/or scare us, we still love them. <3333

Oh my god <3 <3 <3 PLOX. Sometimes I love my characters more than I love most of the people I know... XD It seems ridiculous, and I wouldn't say to a person 'HI I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU TOO BUSY WITH CHARACTER KKTHNXBAI' - But the vast majority of my role models are in fact characters. So here's to all our characters out there, in particular - for me - my characters Sly, Remon, Kir, Adam, Stephan, Sinsy, and many more besides~ And even then my friend's OCs are just so epic... Yarooooo <3333333333333 aaaaaaaaaa just them darned OCs XD THEY NEED TO COME DOWN TO THIS PLANET NOW.

I don't just love my characters, I'm IN love with one of them... Kinda tiring and probably not healthy, but to like them and your imagination is very good, I think

I have characters across the board. Some would love me, some would stare awkwardly and/or shove me off. A few would kill me.
Even so, I adore them all. In RPs, often enough we (the creators) are in them too and we can interact. I wish it was real.

I have conversations with my OC's, even in public.
They are real in a sense as they are a part of you, I truly believe mine have independent thought as they argue with me and they think things I would never think....

Haha, I ADORE my OCs! I'm obsessed with them and often imagine they were real X3 Of course it's okay to love your imagination! Only we can imagine the kind of person we'd really love XD And if mine were real... well, loads of them would kill me immediately if I hugged them... D: and several are dead (angels/demons) so I wouldn't be able to see them. Oh well!

But I also get the same feeling with other things I create. Like I'll make up a robot dinosaur and desperately want to play with it. Or once I drew a wand and really really wanted to just pick it up off the paper and use it. >.<

I know exactly what you mean, ST. I know my OCs -- all 70 of them -- better than I know anyone that actually exists. I'd do almost anything to have them be real. T.T
Some of them I'd go downtown with, others I'd play games with... pretty much anything. However, they would probably bug me to no end. Three of them are triplets and they are quite boisterous, while another is extremely serious -- as examples. They're so fleshed out they could be real <3.
