I'm guessing it makes you someone who doesn't care about gender.
Good for you. (Seriously, if that sounds like sarcasam it isn't)

Makes you pansexual, hun. If you really dont care about someones gender. I feel the same way.

I guess you could say that I'm polysexual. Since pansexual is all sexes and polysexual is many... Not too much of a difference. But, Bisexuality matches the definitions of pan and polysexuality, respectively.

dumbledorkus-x [2010-10-24 13:52:32 +0000 UTC]

Wait, not sex? Does that mean you think you can fall inlove with someone of a different sex and only sleep with one sex? Because I think sex is important in love and relatioships.

ST, please don't feel like you need to label your sexuality to be comfortable with it. I don't care about genders (in fact people's genders often blur to me) and I don't go by any sort of sexuality. You're a person- not a preference.

That would be considered pansexual. Sexuality has to do with more than just sex, it is also about relationships and how we relate to other people. But you should be yourself and be happy.

It makes you whatever you like, love. I say I'm Bisexual, but my 'taste' in love goes beyond the gender binary. So, you may be like me...gender-blind ^^
The label really doesn't matter, y'know?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Miotas-Sisceal In reply to jsplollypop [2010-10-23 18:37:41 +0000 UTC]

Gender-blind is actually termed Pansexual, since bisexual only implies male and female :]

Asexual - you love people for being people but are not interested in the sexual aspect

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

noshsh In reply to TravellingSoldier [2010-10-22 21:31:57 +0000 UTC]

i think it's pansexual when you love regardles of sex, Asexual is not being atracted to or fall in love with either gender.(thats not saying about platonic love just the relationship veriaty)

TravellingSoldier In reply to noshsh [2010-10-22 21:45:06 +0000 UTC]

Asexual

noshsh In reply to TravellingSoldier [2010-10-22 22:02:43 +0000 UTC]

being 'free or unaffected' by sexuality carys with it the implication of being without romantic atachment also, not being unemotional but not looking upon others in that way (with or without the sexual overtone) i think this is realy quite difficult to define as both shear the asumption that it is a sexuality and the st has clearly said they are not refering to sex. to be honest i dont think the terminoligy is realy important, its just society trying to put us all in a box. we should all just love who we love and let the 'clasifyers' go grumble in a corner. love who ever you want to st/travellingsoldier and be happy

IndigoSkyes [2010-10-22 20:15:45 +0000 UTC]

Same, actually.

It means you just want to love someone and have someone love you. Just what everyone else wants.

shayerahol22 [2010-10-22 19:05:31 +0000 UTC]

Pansexual. c: If you're bi, you like both genders (usually for different reasons). if you're pan, you love people regardless of gender.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Atuin [2010-10-22 18:17:18 +0000 UTC]

I refuse to define a sexuality for myself. I don't think of myself as attracted to any particular people, I don't want it to matter, but I also don't want to make the statement "I'm not straight" because seriously, its not a big deal. I love people who I love, and I don't care the least bit details that others will try to label me with.

If you really need a label, then pansexual would probably be the correct one.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Andatariel [2010-10-22 16:08:55 +0000 UTC]

Labels aren't all they're cracked up to be but you could always go for the one my friend uses which is "bi-romantic"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Chaldemone [2010-10-22 15:28:35 +0000 UTC]

Polyamorous. Pansexual means you can be sexually attracted to any form, so if that applies to you, then I'd say you're pansexual. But when it comes down to it, you are whatever you're comfortable calling yourself.

CinnaKitty [2010-10-22 14:23:09 +0000 UTC]

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

doll-fin-chick [2010-10-22 13:12:12 +0000 UTC]

Labels are so silly. There's no need to define yourself, just live how you want to and fall in love with whoever you want to.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Kryana [2010-10-22 12:54:23 +0000 UTC]

Yeah... A pansexual, I'd say. But, what everyone else here said is right-- it doesn't matter what's it called as long as you know you feel it. Although I think we all can understand it's much easier knowing you're not the only one

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

hentaibunnyinc [2010-10-22 12:35:00 +0000 UTC]

Pansexual. Means gender means squat to you and you just love people for who they are, not what body parts they're packing. But labels are pretty irrelevant. Love who you want, more power to you. Only label yourself for bragging rights

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

RoyalFanatic [2010-10-22 12:29:49 +0000 UTC]

I would probably say pansexual (or bi, at the very least), ST.

But labels aren't for people, now are they? Those who love you won't need to know anything else (other than I love people no matter the gender), and those who don't matter-they just don't. Let them hate; just don't let their words consume you.

Good luck out there! At least you have an idea!
