A gift for my good friend,

Kardia looked up to the sky, and she spotteded a big tree. The first tree she ever climbed.
"I remember you," she snarled playfully at the tree, "I was afraid of you for a long time. Your branches look so sturdy, and yet they could give out if I stand on them. While your view looks beautiful from where you're stnadning, I was scared that I fall to my death. But, now, I've grown and I'm up to your challenge!"

She climbed up the tree carefully, and with each step she'd taken, her memories came back, to remember which step was safe, or which branch was strong enough to hold her tall, strong, sleek wolf body. Finally, she reach the perfect spot to where she wanted to jump off of. She quickly looked down for a safe spot, and found a pile of big leaves from the other trees nearby.

"Perfect," she thought, "Once I jump, I'll prove to my family that I'm a full grown wolf!" She knew how reckless this was, but that didn't matter to her. She wanted to conquer her fears and step up in her life.

She let out a loud howl filled with joy, and she lunged off the tree. She reached out for a tree vine and, with a snap, it broke off and she fell down onto the pile of leaves. Her face planted down thick in the leaves, almost giggling and crying at the same time. She never felt so much satisfaction. She did it. Now, she is ready to take on her next lesson: Vines!!
