Being an old hippie, plus the fact it was about 3:00 a.m., when I first saw this I said "How did they get a headband on a bison?" then one of my three remaining brain cells kicked in and I realized it was a bramble.

That's amazing photo! I can't stop myself from faving it. I love bisons, as well as our polish wisents. They have some differences, but both have look that makes you feel deep respect. Pity that both species were so badly destroyed by humans.

My husband and I traveled the west earlier this summer. I was so disappointed that we did not get to see a single Bison. What strong, gentle creatures.

I love bison! They're so beautiful and majestic. Someone down the road from me that has a bull that they actually keeps as a pet. He will eat right out of your hands and he likes to be scratched behind the ear like a dog
