the harsh bad indoor lighting on this shoot gives the white out by the left edge of the face - not contrast work - 
i still love the expression and composition and looking so different

the composition of this is realyl quite stunning - i love the movement in the hair with the blur. i would have liked to see more focus in the mouth, but thinking about it, the blur adds to the description. a buttoned down girl spreading her wings just cant let go - she wont let herself, so it works

do i need to type all bold to be seen around here? I think i caught carpal tunnel scrolling down the GIGANTIC size of of this list. Please forgive me if im out of line. I hurt my back lastnight and coudnt get a hold of any muscle relaxers to ease me back. I found adavan [sp?] My fingers are working about as well as my brain.

Very nice picture. The composition is very original, it is a very good idea to capture only the lower half of the face. It produces an impression of mystery. What is the look of the woman? Is she afraid, stunned or anything? Well done.

I love the concept. here is a thought to play with as I look at this:
Take a look at cropping so that the lips and the neck form more of a diagional across the picture to lead the eye, I thought that might create an even more emotional response in the picture.
I dont know how you create the power in your images using yourself as a model.
