yea,,,i just really love the warm colors on the black background. Looks so smooth and warm. Excellent job. There's some weird stuff on the picture where your left cheek is, but that doesn't bother meh.

I'm sure you've heard it a lot, but you are an amazing beautiful woman. Beautiful in the sky-writing-by-a-plane version of beautiful.

take a black and white photography class in school that teaches darkroom equipment and then take an advanced process tolearn the chemicals to make them blue or brown in the darkroom (van dykes and cyanotypes)

Fantastic image. You are right it's a little burned esp. on the left chink and I wonder if you could have kept the details on the hair somehow without burning that part, it's tough... About the pose I think it's really really good probably the best pose you could find to go with that hair shape and colour, really a wonderful portrait.

I think i see simi the above mentioned grayness, I see just this litter shade at the left side of the background, maybe due to the proximity to your light face? Cool shot in all. Also all pictures tend to be worth a full view, if only to better see details (unless its one of those 2000x3000 full views, those are a killer. Compliments to your hairdresser, i haven't personally been to one in over a year now, and its been far longer since I got a proper hair cut (went maily for dying/straighting with small trim, only once I think) Its good to see more self-portraits since I really enjoy it as subject mater, especially mirror shots. Funny thing is I really don't like pictures being taken of me or making self-portraits.

beautiful... im just saying... the background isnt as solid of black as it could be, kind of like there are slightly greyer spots, and i was just wondering if thats what you were intending to do

I can see it in the upper left and right hand corners, around the shoulders, but not your shirt, I can tell the difference.. the greyness may just be the distance from the subject and the backdrop, but I don't know
