Description He's as cruel as he's pretty. And I don't know if you've noticed but he's a dang fine man. Kuja is kind of the reverse Sephiroth in terms of development. Seph was a rather nice guy before going full Don Quijote and evolving into a haunting sin against nature with cosmic relocation plans.
Kuja was from the start a smarmy bastard and thoroughly ENJOYED it ! He's a gunrunner that's proud of the efficiency of his products and aims to take down his creator so all people hail him (and he admitted to like the idea of turning Zidane and his plucky troop into pillars for his new castle. So yeah, Garland may be an asshole but it does not stop Kuja from being genuinely malicious...). And while Kefka jumped at the opportunity to become a God because John Hammond was an imbecile, Kuja had to carefully plan around his boss' vigilance.... except he did not account for an earlier expiration date and thanatophobia... Ouch ! That makes him a tragic villain but an effectively evil one too, win-win !

And his theme ? Auditory Orgasm www.youtube.com/watch?v=iM5TcW…

I think they were deeper into David Bowie territory with this guy than the Emperor.

Crazy mane of hair - the goblin king had such outstanding locks as well as the flair.

So sure of his power he wears questionable clothing - Bowie didn't fear using makeup.

Music, music and theatrics everywhere.

The aesthetic methods probably, but the Emperor is still THE David Bowie lookalike if not remade character XD

I'd call the unquestionable clothing: it's his choice, his rules XD It's like Kuja decided to be THE most fabulous hipster among all Genomes (no seriously, when Garland talks about him, he always points at how Kuja CRAVES individuality and standing out ! I'd say he succeeded !)

I'll agree fairly on both sides but feel like Kuja goes a fair and even

greater length since he is music-themed.

Only one way to find out: see who'd perform one of Bowie's song

the best. Question is, which song?

Well for the Emperor, "Dance Magic Dance" is a no brainer XD for Kuja, it's "My Death"... hell this is the best depiction of his mindset AFTER the reveal about him running out of time Kuja: Thanatophobia

Fair enough. Now I'd like to see them in a dance-off.

Haven't played much of this game so far though great reference in the book
However, it has an inmersive atmosphere that very few rpgs had managed to get. One very important detail about this game is that is was one of the first (if not the very first one) that applied the "Revisiting the roots" technique long before it became really popular

Yup... it's a gripping tales with a main hero who's a fusion of Aladdin and Abu, working in a a theater troop !
