Punisher origin story. I wanted to make Central Park feel like a grave since this is where Punishers family was gunned down by the mob. And yes, I wanted to make it really dark. I can't wait until the next cover because I get to redesign the Punisher logo.Related content

not sure if you can say anything or not but is Punisher#75 the last Punisher MAX book? Joe Q kind of hinted that way in a recent interview. Wouldn't ask but I am a huge Punisher fan and MAX is where the character belongsin my opinion.

i love your technique for the city scape... where somebody like say, bryan hitch or whoever/whatnot might go in and actualy articulate every detail, i think this actualy works really great, so simple.

Yeah, I believe that doing all that detail is bullshit. Like better artists than me have said "If it doesn't move the narrative along, get rid of it." Too many artist try to impress you with the amount of copious detail they can cram down your eyeballs and forget that it hurts the overall impact.
