I'm loving how this is shaping up so far.
I mean this as a total compliment, but is very reminiscent of the brilliant Glen Fabry's work (i.e Preacher covers)
Keep up the good work. Very looking forward to final piece!!!

This is coming nicely. Your posting these in real time!? Awesome. I feel much more comfortable with my working speed now haha
Rad image, not really feeling the extra piece in the noise cavity though. But I'm a less is more type of guy. Digging the rest of the image to no end. :]

Forget the nose cavity thing, I just saw that Mr. Jusko already covered it.

I love the idea of deconstructing the barriers to build a better final piece! Thanks for posting these!

I SEE NO FAIL!
All I see is awesome...so much gritty bad ass-ness in a single cover about The Punisher and a bayou should not be possible...but there you go.

Even when he's on fire the Punisher is a cool cat. He's all, "Fire? So what if I'm on fire. Check out how muscly I am."

Looks great Dave, the flames consuming the image are really killer, and those standout Jeans, nuff said 70's Lee's. Nice work

What kind of paint are you using?

This is very education, Dave. Thank you. I wish artists would do this more often.
So did you paint directly onto the inked page or did you photocopy you inks and paint onto that?
