My take on a poster design for one of this year's most anticipated films The Dark Knight Rises... The final entry in Christopher Nolan's acclaimed Batman trilogy.Fan art (particularly posters) have been appearing for this movie for ages now so I realise I'm a bit of a late-comer to The Dark Knight Rises party, but I wanted to wait until (a) there were enough decent sized promotional pics out to work with, and (b) I'd actually seen the movie... for reasons even I'm not completely sure of.
Anyway, as if you need me to tell you, the film is outstanding. I strongly recommend it, and here's my attempt at a bit of promo for it. And if you like this, you may also be interested in my other Batman movie poster work:

I really think instead of the dramatic Hans Zimmer soundtrack during the credits, after it cut to black there'd be silence, and then suddenly.... "BATMAN! nananananananananananananana BATMAN!" Wouldn't have cheapened the ending at all.
