K so I was watching gargoyles (again) the other day, and I realized Elisa never shoots her gun.Ever.
She's only fired a few times in the whole series.
Sigh.

i always hate when that happends...that's so cartoon/novelty since in real life a person will shoot the adversary without mercy

Please look through a police manual and find and cite the exact page that says "shoot the adversary without mercy" as the first solution to any situation. A police officer's job is to arrest and bring criminals to justice, not gun them down. They've been developing all sorts of non-lethal tools to make their jobs more effective. They range from changing the ammuntion to using rubber bullets and bean bags to using tasers which stun the suspect...
Lethal force is always a police officer's last resort. Not the first.

it might either be the coincious or it might be that the shooter is inexperience to shoot to see this occur
but yep in true nature a Police can't shoot down a adversary unless the adversary either resist or shoots the first throw and from there the officer has no option than to gun down by own defence
