Name: Sarabi
Name Meaning: optical illusion, mirage (Swahili)
Status: Whistling Creek Pride (Valelands), Queen of the Pridelands
Relations: Daughter of Dumisha and Ziada , Sister of Naanda , Pepea , Fuma , Subiri , Diku , Dwala , Jiwe , and Tilifu , Mate to Mufasa , Mother of Simba
Summary: Sarabi is brought in from her father’s kingdom up north to be betrothed to her uncle’s heir and future king, Mufasa. As a result, Sarabi is trained and groomed alongside him from the beginning to become future ruler. She takes to it like fish does to water, having all the charisma, diplomacy, kindness and firmness that all rulers require, especially a queen. She absorbs all that both Ahadi and Uru have to teach and have learned from in there time of ruling, being particularly fond of the old stories and legends of kings of old. And even better, she takes to her future husband with enthusiasm; she finds him handsome and charming and loves when he dotes on her. However, she is put off by his temper, brashness and arrogance, working very hard to improve him. Upon coronation and marriage, the two’s reign promises to be one the most peaceful and prosperous in the kingdom’s history.

Sadly, it does not last long when Mufasa dies in a stampede, presumably along with their son and heir, Simba, only a few years into their reign. Sarabi is devastated but has to put on brave face for the pride when Scar takes over and brings the lands long held enemy, the hyena clan, to live amongst them. Through the turbulent, fearful reign, Sarabi keeps her prides spirits up and takes the brunt of Scar’s, and later Zira’s, abuse. She even makes it her top priority to look after and care for the cubs to make sure they don’t fall pray like her son did. As a result, even after the lose of her title, all the lionesses still refer to her as Queen Sarabi.

Later, when her son returns, she is there to support him in usurping Scar and later ruling the kingdom, passing on all the teachings from her lessons with Uru and Ahadi.

Sarabi also gtes a updated character sheet and boy does she look beautiful. Her old one was okay but dang does she look pretty now. :3
Not much changed to her bio other then added in her parents and siblings. Man, it certainly fills out her relations more
then before, would make family reunions interesting. XD
Other then that, her bio stayed the same. She will showing up way more in the future in which you'll get a better insight into her life. If it goes as planned, it should be interesting.
