Good textures on the work above. A neat trick for creating more depth is to use a lighter shade tone for the shadows in the more distant rocks. Most photos we use for reference have too even a shadow tone. I deliberately make a difference even if it's not obvious in the ref pic. so the chunky darks shout "foreground" and the paler and cooler tones recede. It works on everything - even a still life of a bowl of fruit! Hope you don't mind the comment and thanks for your ongoing support.

Now that is some fine work there! I absolutely love the shore. The foam and the wet sand are blended so well and the clouds have a nice touch of shade. Another excellent piece.

I normally am not into landscapes , but I couldn't resist this. I love the way you used to natural texture of the pastels to create such dimension. The clouds and waves, are especially wonderful. Well done.
