This picture does seem a lot more powerful and significant if you imagine Applejack playing "Under the Apple Tree". I love it when people mix ponies with video games in a subtle way, like you did with the Kingdom Hearts crown on Applejack's book of bedtime stories. Unfortunately, now I can't look at this picture without thinking of Zack Fair's death. At least Applejack and Applebloom seem to be having a good time!

Tch! Straight through the heart! Zack's death... Never did I expect to see that scene, everything was perfect (apart from Angeal's death T.T), until the trip to Nibelheim...
VII will always be my favorite, but yeah, glad that they're having a good time and that you like this piece ^v^

Yeah, unfortunately if you've played Final Fantasy VII before then you know exactly what's going to occur on your trip to Nibelheim in Crisis Core. Final Fantasy VII is your favorite, huh? I hear ya! It's a spectacular game, to be sure! As much as I love it though, Final Fantasy XII takes the #1 spot on my list for nostalgic reasons.
This is actually the first picture of yours that caught my attention because of the guitar (my father plays guitar, you see) and the shading style which I thought strongly resembled mine. Of all your artwork, this very well may be my favorite!

I actually started Final Fantasy through Dissidia Duodecim 012. My first ever FF game and man, it really did a great job getting me interested in the rest of the Final Fantasy sequels. It's basically a combination of the heroes from FFI to FFXIII, but I must say, it was a bit confusing starting off, SO MANY CHARACTERS! But in the end, Cloud stood out from the rest XD I took a liking to him and expanded my interest to playing Crisis Core. Some time later, I got myself into Kingdom Hearts!! My first and only KH game I played was Birth By Sleep... Really beautiful... I only have a psp to call my own, no ps2 sadly T.T One day, I shall play Kingdom Hearts 1 AND 2!
FFXII? I only know Vaan and Gabranth are enemies. That's how they portrayed them in Dissidia ^v^

You are correct: Vaan and Gabranth are enemies in Final Fantasy XII, though Grabranth surprisingly is not the main villain of the game. I certainly won't go into details, as Final Fantasy XII has one of the most complex plots of any video game I've ever seen.
You've only played Birth by Sleep? Ironic, as I've played every single Kingdom Hearts game in the series except that one, but I do know the story and characters well enough. It is a very touching game, and I strongly recommend playing the rest of the series if you get the chance.
My shading skills are good, but like I mentioned before I can get a little carried away with it. My next drawing is my most ambitious work yet and shading it is probably going to be the death of me.

I fully intend to play all the others in the series... I've done so much googling but in the end it all comes down to either getting a ps2, a decent pc or wait for 5 more generations of iphone (which may just be crazy enough to work ;D)
I got to know Kingdom Hearts through a friend of mine who I guess did play almost all in the series. Listening to him, I decided to give it a shot as it could turn out to be something like Final Fantasy, and I'm glad I did... Even the songs alone are enough to make you stay and play XD

I would actually recommend getting a PlayStation 3 for the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, which is a compilation of three Kingdom Hearts games. This would also be a bonus because later next year they'll release Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, which contains the rest of the series. I own all the games (except Birth by Sleep) so I have no need for the compilations, but for a person who's new to the series and wants to play them all, the HD collections may be the most efficient means of doing so. Just a thought. And yes, Yoko Shimomura (who created the music for Kingdom Hearts) is one of my favorite composers of all time!
I recently moved to the United States and have been swamped with a myriad of new responsibilities, but now I'm finally back into a rhythm and can draw a little more regularly. OH! So that's why it's called Remix! Initially, I thought it was a remake with better graphics, smoother controls and stuff... Never did I expect it to be a compilation of the 3 games! But, it all comes down to munny XD Being 16, there's not much I can do, plus, my parents don't actually approve of me plugging in PlayStations into the television -.- I've thought of borrowing a PlayStation2 from friends of mine but...
