This is pretty brilliant work.
The facial expression is without compare the best part, very nicely done. The chain-link halo, the fact that the robe is made up of cables, and the fantasy mech wings combined with that masterful expression really helps leave this picture up for interpretation.
The mechanical, structured form of organized religion, the soullessness of certain versions, limitation, there are alot of meanings that could be here.

I hope the tattoo comes out well, where did you want to get it? It seems like the sort of thing that would belong on the chest, maybe on one pec muscle or the other, facing away from the sternum, like it's going away from your heart or something.

Oooh you're one of those smelly infantry guys.
I can respect that, I've been an Army contractor for just over a year now, so I've been following you guys' work for a while now to a much closer degree than most people, since I get exposed to briefings and classes that we're supporting.
I'm not in the military right now, but ironically all of the Army guys I work with assume I was because of how I act. I do intend to enlist after I finish my degree, though so I might as well be. I'm planning in enlisting 18X, which is the SOF enlistment option they invented recently, so I'm training alot lately and trying to build my mental toughness too. It comes across in everything I do, apparently.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it quite a bit. Horse at the gate mentality, you know? The only thing in the training I've seen that makes me cringe is when I'll learn to rip a chicken's head off with a stick or kill a bunny.
