Description
This is a detail shot from my painting "Bleeding Sky"I spent a lot of time on Red and Dey and I thought, there should be a close up of them.
And you can see the burning tree in the background which isn't very visible on the full picture ^^

from the two of them i like the detail shot more. There's something about the composition that balances out the characters. It's much easier on the eyes as well and the feel of impeding doom is still palpable without the extra imagery in the larger version. The details visible in this one also makes it look much more professional as a lot of the impact is lost in the original. Still both are beautifully done with captivating expressions and perfect lighting. I only wish i had the same patience to complete such a big and beautiful project such as this well done and congratulations.

And I agree, all the work I put into the characters gets lost in the huge background, that's why I uploaded the detail shot too.
I also talked about the composition and perspective of the background with a friend and we figured out a lot of mistakes that I hope not to repeat
