Yeah, I realized that later on, when rereading the preview. How does it work in this case? Where you inform at the last minute that they needed you to ink some pages or was it due to your contract (like you had 5 more pages to ink before the contract ends)?

I'm not under contract. Just freelance.
Always with something like this, it's just a case where I get a call to help pitch in. I think there were like 3 inkers on the issue or something, so it's usually a matter of getting everything done at the end to meet deadlines.

Do you follow the pencil lines of things like the leotards (sp?) or do you make up your own? I'm always curious how inkers handle stuff like that.

A little bit of both. If I were super precise, then I'd be able to hit all the lines correctly. But since I'm not, it's more hit and miss, fudge it, and hopefully it turns out looking okay.
