some of you have read insomnia, by stephen king. it's a barn burner of a read and remains one of my favorite books although some of my more picky friends would scoff at reading king. i love his stuff. this painting was finished about 2 years ago and was at least three times painted over before the little men and ralph worked themselves out of thick piles of dried oil. it's one of three stephen king inspired paintings i have finished along with a graphic novel or the short story "suffer the little children."

at the request of my little brother, i went out into my garage into the backstock that i have been piling up for the past couple of years, i will post more..
