Description portrait, once again
well, what shall i say about it? i'm quite happy with the result, never 've done anything like this, technique wise...i mean something less expressive, though without loosing that painterly touch. (i spent like 1 whole day doing just lips, and yeah, i wanted to blend paint to that brush strokes would be almost invisible) well, i want to do one day something hyper realistic, but T.I.M.E...... unfortunately i cant spend at the moment a lot of time on d paintings, however in summer i'll do something BIG and DETAILED and expressive)

oils on cardboard, i think around size a2
p.s. i dont know how to take GOOD photos...camera ruined my painting once again...i just wish i get a new camera soon, so that i would re-upload this one

She looks hauntingly beautiful in your depiction of her. Just wondering, do you prime the cardboard before you paint on it?

Oh sounds good. I just didn't know if oil ruined the surface of cardboard... I'm thinking of doing an oil on wood painting soon.

its wasnt the traditional oil, so to speak, but water-mixable oil or watever its called, so it didntruin the surface or anything)

in technique it's amazing, but I think it looks weird, not ranting or anything I know how hard it is to draw or paint leighton and getting a fabulous result.

oh no, you are right, this particular one is very weird) well, the aim here was not to get exact leighton, as she is in the photo, but rather to focus more on technique and I found this photo to be interesting to paint like that)
i rearranged here a bit, her eyes in d photo are definitely different from the painting, but that was on purpose)
thank you for commenting)
