Took more hours to do the lineart than do the coloring. Gave cellshading another go, with a limit of 2 colors on top of a base color. Was quite challenging. Messed up with the lighting, though..
For the first time, Eirwen's necklace from her story Raven's Serpentine is featured in art form. Its pendant is a piece of amber, with a 4-leaf mandragora bud inside it, with one petal broken.

I remember going to happy fanart land too when I got cor around that level! GOD my cor was a killing MACHINE (er, make that TP giving machine hurhur). I miss that job and smn the most of all. Anywho, great work on this one too. Kinda exploring some of your gallery. xD I like the cards and dice and other stuffage, gives sort of a down to earth feel to cor instead of magical stupid cards flying through the air.

I just logged out after getting more ranged accuracy stuff for the job, as well as restocked on bullets and card, 'cuz I recently got some extra gil. Even bought my first 'higher than lv 41' dice roll - Wizard's Roll. Been broke for so long, and I would be broke again if I bought more than this all..

They invented the SMN burn thingy after I quit, but when I unquit this year for like, two days, I got like 8 levels on my SCH in one pop...it was pure sexy!! One day I'd like to try it ON smn though...barring lag. Ha!
And if you can 2box, it's slow but works... worms worms worms. zzzzzzz.

Ha! You should try being the puller/keeper. Me and a friend were pulling the mobs in Korroloka Tunnel, and to pass on the group of mobs to me, I had to cast C4 on her and go into rest mode. Only, this one time, I couldn't get up because of the lag and when Phalanx dropped, and stoneskin, and defender, and sentinel... a dead paladin layed there, trapped under dozens, if not hundreds of mobs. XD

Okay, I absolutely LOVE this. I love the details in the lineart, and with the background everything looks so cool! I like that the dice aren't white, and Eirwen's expression screams personality.
Also I wanted to point out the hands: I like how you drew them the size they should be, lots of people draw hands too small in this style, so kudos for that

The best possible compliment I can offer is that looking at your Eirwen pics really bring the best feelings I have of FF XI out of me. You do such a good job capturing and emoting what is best about that game that it makes me want to come back and play the game despite S-E's fuckery. Taiso and Eirwen adventuring together at length would be great. Who knows, maybe someday...

Actually, it's quite a coincidence, though leveled for different reasons.
Never knew my art could grasp a person as much as it does to you. And that's one of the biggest compliment an artist can get. You'd best not look at what I'm currently working on then, since it has ingame friends in it, including you.
Monk... sounds cheap to level, though. Hmmm...

I can't wait to see your next pic. Should be interesting, especially to see what situations you put the characters in.
As for leveling MNK, it's not an expensive job early on but once you hit 50, with the Cross Counters and how much they cost, you start to get a feel for just how pricey it can get. Luckily, Scorpion Harnesses have dropped sharply since the days when I was leveling the job so you won't have much trouble there. But, as with anything else, if you want the best you will pay through the nose;_;
