Korra in her Avatar State, ready to kick some ass.
First time I try making a half-decent fanart on my iPad… I don’t know, I just really wanted to draw Korra! And it’s also the first time I tried drawing Korra! And painting fire. And wind. And water. Except for underwater pictures and/or ponds/waves/whatever— okay, not really the first time I draw water. Also, not the first time I paint fire either. And not exactly the first time I do fanart— ALRIGHT, FINE, NOT THAT MANY FIRSTS, BUT STILL! Bear with me!
You will notice a lack of a fourth element there. That’s because every time I tried adding rocks it all looked like crap. And I was lazy. Mostly because of the laziness. Just imagine Korra is standing on a gigantic boulder that she created herself. There’s your fourth element!
AND YET even with all the issues, I… like how this turned out? Especially since I did it all on my iPad. I like how the water turned out more than anything… and the fire. And it IS the first time I draw Korra so I really like how she looks even though there are 101 things wrong with her. I’m terrible at drawing people, so I’m really happy here.
(ps: generic title is generic. I’m worse at picking titles than I am at drawing rocks)
