I don't know who said that Karkat couldn't have an ancestor because he was a mutant blood. And i don't know who either replied that Karkat had sent back on time 12 clones, SO...
well i can't say whether it's Karkat himself or his ancestor, both conclusions please me ! How i love this character.

My PERSONAL OPINION is that the Cancestor has a 'logical' blood color (between Sollux's yellowish gold and Nepeta's moss green)... Because I want Karkat to have human blood in him... literally. XD

So I was wondering : what about Aradia ? While being a robot, she had blue blood inside, but that was Equius' doing wasn't it ? Her blood seems to be pretty red too. Dark red. And at the beginning; Equius refers to her as some kind of peasant, so does that mean her blood's color is a very low but regular color ? If that's the case, i like imagining Karkat's ancestor is dark red too

Yeah, dark red is a normal color, but bright red (or, one might assume, bright anything) would be a mutation. And if it's called a mutation, it's probably not all that uncommon. I mean, everyone seems to know EXACTLY what a bright blood color means, even though things like Dersites (Jack) and humans (Dave) having bright red blood was a SHOCK1NG D3V3LOPM3NT... And going by the zodiac signs, if Karkat would logically have been a yellow-green blood, since Cancer is between Gemini and Leo, maybe a typical 'mutation' would make that color be brighter, like Jade's font color, but instead, it's bright red...? ANYWAY my headcanon is a very deep and interesting place. XD
And there's so many hints of him being part human, it's not even a joke. Like when Vriska was talking to John on page 005368 she said
AG: He sure kept us working together, 8ut in the end I think we paid for it.
AG: It wasn't natural! Pretty fitting, really, since he's kind of a freak himself. He's not even on the hemospectrum, the weirdo.
AG: I really dou8t he would have handled it as a leader if the shit ever hit the whirling device.

wow thanks for the info ! I hope we'll learn more about karkat, his blood and humanity in the future. I can't wait for things to get really serious. I guess it will be even more interesting at the end of the countdown and when the kids will finally meet the trolls. And where the hell did Gamzee got the warhammer of Zillyhoo ? Because he had an ancestor, it's clear that Karkat was not the only mutant blooded troll to have existed, but since his ancestor was probably just as secretive about his color, Karkat would have never known about it.
