Wow! What a dramatic painting! The colors are so intense and pure. I especially love the spidery, yellow green lace in the fore most wave. It really feels like the sun has just went down and splashed it's golden light over everything.

What happens to oils when they dry? Will the intensity of the color change? i can't imagine ever working with oils. Scary!

when they dry the just become less shiny....the intensity remains....oils can be a pain...it's a love/ hate type of thing...*sigh*
