I don't think I've posted a digital painting in quite a while... This was my entry to the themed drawn graphics compo at Assembly 2007. There were three themes to choose from, this one is "Remix" (the others were "Admiration" and "360 degrees".

Naturally the picture did not qualify to the bigscreen, because there were no lesbians with big tits or anything [to compensate for the fact that there were better entries]. Quite a bit of mistakes, roughness, low contrast lack of detail and poor texturing/shading there, but like I've said I rarely bother to fix anything afterwards (I do distinctly remember having fixed some things in time, but looking at the picture it seems that apparently I didn't).

The clouds are from a brush pack I got outside of DA. The zebra is referenced from my own stock photo, [link] When I was finished with the piece and tweaking with the layers, I felt like perhaps I should have left out the layers containing the body of the zebra - it looked quite funky with just the stripes. But I guess that would have worked better in a different kind of a piece. I have the PSP file so I can still make that piece some day if I feel like it. The zebra and the concept were pretty much the only things I liked about the piece when it was finished.
