There are a few good ways to say the first sentence:
O zi atat de lenesa!
Atat de lenesa ziua!
Ce zi lenesa! (what a lazy day!)

*Mi-ar placea/mi-as dori
*sa ma asez pe iarba (iarba normally doesn't have a plural - there is, however, a plural version of the word, "ierburi", which refers to a range of plants, usually either weeds or the ones a witch would use in her spells, or the ones used in some old cures for diseases... usually nameless obscure plants)

It's either
"Ce zi lenesa!"
or
"Ce zi atat de lenesa!"
