3rd artwork of the series for my metal band. FULL VIEW NEEDED !!!

Now let's talk about some technical stuff :

25 or 30hours
wacom intuos 3 A4
a very small and crappy shot of my face taken with Photobooth as a reference
I googled some jellies as refs for their main shape
Water is heavily referenced from many google images for the main big splash as I wanted to make it look as real as I could.
Been quite time consuming…
Photo texture from www.cgtextures.com (rust) used on top of the picture to add scratches
I'll let you figure out about the symbolism ^^

The use of colours and the way you combine them in photoshop.
This piece is not as complex in therms of details as your others, but is much deeper in meanings.
Truly the best from the Syllia series.

All of your women seem to hold a resemblance to you. The top of the drawing I think that she's underneath the water but then the water splash comes in and now she's on top? Anyway I think you succeeded in creating the splash. It certainly looks real enough. I like the cold, fish-like color and texture of her skin. The jellyfishes add a nice, lively glow to her skin. It's too bad I'm terrible at finding symbolism. All I can think is that covering eyes represents the see no evil motif.

This is stunning! Incredible details, and I love the wet look of the skin! The jellyfish are really nice, and the water at the bottom looks so real! The colors are incredible too! This is my favorite image in the series
