I don't know a lot about photography, so the critique I give you is just a personal opinion about the overall look. Great idea behind the photograph. It's a little dark for me though; not a fan in how the blue kind of fades away. The colours aren't as vibrant as in some of the other photographs you have, and there's a certain part in the center of the orb that is just too dark for my taste.
If there had been just a bit more brightness, it would have been awesome! But I still like it, it's just not as colourful as I'm used to. Great job. For it not being a sunny day, you did really well.

It was a very sunny day, that's exactly where the problem comes from
It creates too much contrast so I couldn't manage to get the dark parts lighter as the light ones would have been overexposed then...
I've got another one from the same flower, way more colorful (this one was backlit by the sun, the black background is caused by a very dark shadow on a window, the other one has a very soft lighting, I'll post it later on)

I don't know much about photography, but if it's a critique you want, it's a critique I shall attempt.
It looks good overall. I would have liked to see the blues in the flower to be a little brighter; it kind of fades into the background in places. Also, while I know it's pretty difficult to control when, how and where a flower blooms, but the arrangement of blooms on this flower seems kind of weird to me. I would have liked to see a few more blossoms as well.
But like I said, overall it's nice.

I wish it wasn't such a sunny day when I took this shot, I would have loved the blues to be a bit brighter too but the lighter parts would have been overexposed then... I shall try again in some days to let enough time to those flowers to be fully bloomed.
