I love this photo for two reasons. First, because it it simply an amazingly detailed and beautiful shot. Second, because the chicory flower is usually completely dismissed as a roadside weed and people don't really give it a chance. It's always nice to see someone that appreciates the under-appreciated

I use a Canon EOS 350D + Canon EF-S USM 60mm macro lens.
Good lens but not so good camera... I'll buy a new one when I've got enough money (i.e : not as soon as I'd like >_< )

ah no probs! awesome! i need to get better at macro i loove doing it but i havent gotten a chance to get a macro lens XD well its not like i can afford it anyway XD i use a nikon d60

It's ok and maybe even better than my camera
You can try the reverse-lensing trick if you don't have a macro lens. I've not tried it yet but it sounds awesome and allows to take some amazing macro shots. Here's a tutorial, there are plenty on the web [link]
