Just thought I'd pop on a WIP of my Alanna painting! Alanna is a character from the books based in Tortall written by Tamora Pierce. Yay for fanart! It's a medieval fantasy series I guess you could call it. This is just a small section of the painting.It is only a WIP, hence the background being all squiggly. I haven't put any details in there yet, or even the final base. Figured it'd been a while since I uploaded anything and y'all might like to see how it's coming along! The face and hair are almost there, though still need a few more detail passes. I've just realised it looks horrible as a tiny thumbnail too

The expression is soul-searing. The shading, detail and colours are all excellent.
Truly lovely piece, even if it is a WIP.
